For this episode of Window Shop with Car and Driver, we challenged ourselves to find listings for the worst cars ever made by certain brands, and we set the price cap at $ 10,000. This, of course, raises the question of what exactly makes a car bad. Is it reliability, poor sales, homely design, inconsistency with the brand, a complete lack of performance, obvious cost cutting, or something other? Perhaps you just know it when you see it.

Helping us choose and judge our finds this week is longtime C/D contributor Brett Berk. Berk shocks the panel by putting forth the K-Car-based Chrysler Executive Limousine as the car that brought the most shame to the Pentastar logo, but he makes a strong case. The rest of the crew’s choices are similarly odd and thought provoking. And no one picked the too-obvious Cadillac Cimarron.
